Zoning Board of Adjustment

Board Functions:

This Board's functions are to determine whether proposed conditional uses are appropriate and in the best interests of the public; to hear and decide the merits of variances from the terms of the Zoning Ordinance, except that requests for uses that constitute a change in zoning are the responsibility of the Zoning Commission and City Council; and to hear and resolve appeals of administrative actions in enforcing the Zoning Ordinance. Such appeals shall be initiated within thirty (30) days of the administrative action.

The Zoning Board of Adjustments meets the fourth Monday of the month when a Conditional Use Permit or Zoning Variance has been requested.
