Utility Billing -
Meters are read and utility bills are sent out monthly to property owners. Bills can be paid in person or mailed to 223 S. 2nd Street, using the drop off box after hours at the same location (no cash), or you can call the billing clerk at 363-2131 to pay by credit card over the phone. The city will shut off water for free for plumbing repairs or if the occupant plans to be away for a long period of time. For those who leave the area for the winter, this is highly recommended. Please be sure to provide a forwarding address in writing to the billing clerk as the post office does not forward our utility bills.
