Section 1.08.020 Survey, datum plane.

Mean sea level shall be and the same is the official datum plane or base from which the height of all points measured by or for the city of Hamilton shall be determined as shown by the official bench mark of the U.S. Geological Survey located at the U.S. Public Health Laboratory, in the city, such bench mark having an altitude of three thousand five hundred seventy-eight and eight-tenths (3,578.8) feet above mean sea level.
