Section 1.28.020 To what acts penalty shall attach.

    Any person, firm or corporation who shall commit an act declared by any section or subsection of this code to be unlawful, or who fails to perform any act or discharge any duty or obligation required or imposed upon him/her or it, by any chapter, section or subsection of this code, shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this code and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to the penalty fixed for the violation with like effect as if such penalty were specifically declared in the chapter, section or subsection forbidding such act or declaring the same unlawful, or prescribing the duty or imposing the obligation, and where any duty is prescribed or obligation imposed, or which act is of a continuing nature, is forbidden or declared unlawful, each day such duty or obligation continues, shall constitute a separate offense, except where otherwise provided in this code.
