Section 10.12.020 Restricted parking.

    It is unlawful for the operator of a vehicle to stop, stand or park such vehicle:
    A.    In a marked and designated "No Parking" area;
    B.    In an alley for any purpose or period of time longer than is necessary for reasonable and expeditious loading or unloading;
    C.    Double parked for any purpose or period of time other than for the expeditious loading or unloading of such vehicle except in the case of emergency or on the direction of a police officer;
    D.    In the downtown parking business district between the hours of two a.m. and six a.m. on Thursdays in areas so marked and designated;
    E.    At the doors of a theater or motion picture theater, during the hours that the theater is in operation for more than two minutes in two spaces so marked and designated;
    F.    In a yellow warning area;
    G.    Closer than fifteen (15) feet to a fire hydrant;
    H.    On or across a marked and designated pedestrian crosswalk, sidewalk, pathway, or driveway;
    I.    In a parking area that has been marked and designated "Reserved";
    J.    In a marked and designated loading area for any purpose or period of time longer than is necessary for reasonable and expeditious loading or unloading;
    K.    In a marked and designated residential/special permit area for any purpose unrelated to residential use or without displaying a city issued special permit on the vehicle. (Ord. 131 (part), 1998: prior code § 10.03.200)
