Section 12.04.300 Bond of contractor.
A. Any and all contractors who accept a contract from
the director of public works, or other
authorized person, for the construction of a sidewalk or sidewalks or curb or curbs, shall execute a
performance bond in the sum of double the amount of the contract, conditioned for the faithful
performance of all the terms and conditions of the contract.
B. Such bond shall run to the city and shall be signed
by at least two resident freeholders
within the city, or by some bonding company authorized to transact business in the state of
