Section 12.04.340 Removal of old sidewalks.
A. All old plank or concrete sidewalks upon the site
of any proposed new concrete sidewalk
shall be carefully removed and neatly piled by the contractor constructing such sidewalk, upon the
adjoining roadway or upon the lots immediately within the near property line of the same, if
requested by the owner or tenant of the property in front of or along which such new sidewalk is to
be constructed, and such old plank or concrete sidewalks shall thereupon become the property of
such owner or tenant.
B. If no request shall be made by such owner or tenant
for the same, all old plank and concrete
sidewalks removed by the contractor shall become the property of such contractor, without cost to
either the city or the owner or tenant of the property in front of or along which the same are
