Section 12.04.370 Entrances, stairways.

No entranceways to areaways and no outside stairway to basements shall be constructed, unless permission therefor be first obtained from the director of public works or other authorized person, and when made or constructed shall be subject to the approval of the director of public works or other authorized person, and in no case shall the entrance to any areaway or outside stairway to a basement be within five feet of the corner of buildings at street intersections.
