Section 12.04.400 Temporary sidewalk required.

All persons engaged in the construction or repairing of sidewalks, within the business district in the street, which temporary sidewalk shall be of planks not less than two inches in thickness, and shall be not less than three feet in width and shall extend from sidewalk to sidewalk around such sections of sidewalk in the course of construction or repairs and such temporary sidewalk must be constructed before any work whatever is commenced on the permanent walk, and must not be removed until such permanent walk is open to traffic.
