Section 12.16.180 Tree planting, maintenance and removal.

    All trees and vegetation in any public area shall be planted, removed, maintained and protected in a safe and healthy condition. No tree shall be planted near or around any power or utility pole on public land, right-of-way or private property.
    Property owner shall maintain all trees and vegetation adjacent to public area or private property, so that no part of the tree or vegetation shall extend over any part of a public sidewalk or street. Any tree or vegetation with an overhang lower than thirteen (13) feet six inches for streets, or any tree or vegetation with an overhang lower than seven and one-half feet for sidewalks shall be corrected by the owner. Any hedge and or vegetation shall not exceed two and one-half feet in height in the clear view triangle area as outlined in Section 12.16.240, clear view triangle. (Ord. 195 (part), 2002)
