Chapter 13.12 SEWER SERVICE USE REGULATIONS


Section 13.12.200 Backflow protection.

All sewer service, which provides service to plumbing fixtures at or below ground level, shall install backflow protection devices approved by the director of public works. Any liability arising from the failure of an owner to install or properly maintain an approved backflow protection device shall be the responsibility of the owner. The city shall not be responsible for failure of owner to install or maintain same. (Ord. 215 (part), 2003: Ord. 111 (part), 1996: prior code § 4.05.200)
