Chapter 13.12 SEWER SERVICE USE REGULATIONS

Section 13.12.210 Use of artificial means to lift sewage.
All sewer service lines which are too low to permit gravity flow to the public sewer system shall
lift sanitary sewage by a pumping system approved by the director of public works. Such system
shall be installed and maintained at the owners expense. Any liability arising from failure of an
owner to install or properly maintain an approved backflow protection device shall be the
responsibility of the owner. The city shall not be responsible for failure of owner to install or
