Chapter 13.16 SEWER SERVICE CHARGES


Section 13.16.040 Determining sewer usage during irrigation and non-irrigation months.

    Calculation of sewer waste discharge shall be based upon the lower of the actual water usage or a three month average using the months December, January and February, which average shall apply to the next twelve (12) month period. Properties that show no water usage during this three month period shall have the "minimum waste water usage" applied. Newly constructed sites shall also have the "minimum waste water usage" applied upon the inception of water and sewer services. During the averaging months, the "minimum water usage" is established at five thousand (5,000) gallons per month. (Ord. 219, 2003: Ord. 215 (part), 2003)
