Section 15.04.080 Violation--Penalty.

    Any person, firm or corporation erecting any structure or repairing the same without taking out a permit as specified in this chapter or violating any of the provisions of this chapter, shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in any sum not less than ten dollars ($10.00), nor more than three hundred dollars ($300.00), and in addition thereto the building inspector may order the removal of any structure not erected in accordance with the provisions of this chapter or contrary thereto, and if such person, firm or corporation shall fail to remove such structure when so ordered, each day that such structure is permitted, by the owner, to remain shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be punishable as provided for in this section.
