Section 16.08.030 Pre-application procedures.
The subdivider shall meet with the director of community
development prior to submitting
the required preliminary plat. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss these regulations and
standards, to familiarize the subdivider with the applicable goals and objectives of the city, and
to discuss the proposed subdivision as it relates to these matters. The director of community
development shall notify the subdivider of the option of concurrent review of the subdivision by
the city and the Montana Department of Health and Environmental Sciences. The subdivider
shall provide a detailed sketch plan of the proposed subdivision for review and discussion. The
detailed sketch plan shall be legibly drawn showing in simple form the layout of proposed
features in relation to existing site condition. The detailed sketch plan may be a freehand sketch
made directly on a print of a topographic map. Scale dimensions must be noted. The detailed
sketch plan shall include pertinent information such as: approximate tract and lot boundaries,
location description of general terrain, natural features, existing structures and improvements,
