Section 17.104.030 General regulations.
A. All owners, tenants or their agents shall secure a
sign permit and a building permit as
applicable from the city before installing, altering, moving, converting or replacing any
permanent sign visible from the public right-of-way.
B. All signs shall be structurally safe and shall be
securely anchored and if affixed to a
building shall meet the same International Building Code (IBC) fire safety standards as the
building.
C. Signs located on or over public property are subject
to approval by the zoning
administrator or designee.
D. This sign ordinance shall apply retroactively to all
signs within the city and to all
applications for a sign permit. (Ord. 225 (part), 2003)
