Section 17.104.090 Computations.

    A.    Computation of Sign Area.
    1.    The computed area of a single sign face shall be the area of the smallest geometric figure or combination of such figures that will encompass the extreme limits of the graphic display, together with any material or color forming an integral part of the background of the display or used to differentiate the sign from the background.
    2.    The computed area of a multi-faced sign shall be the combined area of all sign faces divided by two.
    B.    Computation of Height. The computed height of a sign shall be the vertical distance between the elevation of the adjacent street curb, or edge of pavement if no curb exists, to the highest attached component of the sign. (Ord. 225 (part), 2003)
