Chapter 2.04 CITY COUNCIL


Section 2.04.220 Appointment of permanent committees.

    A.    There shall be appointed annually or as needed, by the mayor with the consent of the city council, from the regularly elected members of the city council, members to the following permanent committees:
    1.    Personnel committee;
    2.    Finance committee;
    3.    Executive committee;
    4.    Legislative committee;
    5.    Public works committee;
    6.    Police committee.
    B.    If the city council does not consent to the nominations to committees proposed by the mayor, the mayor shall prepare a new list of nominations to committees after due consultation with council members. If the city council does not consent to the second list of nominations to committees proposed by the mayor, the city council shall appoint committees by majority vote of the council.
