Section 2.08.020 Term of office.

All appointive officers shall hold office for the term for which they were appointed and qualified, provided, that any appointive officer may at any time be removed by action of the mayor, with the consent of a majority of the council, and provided further, that all employees holding positions by virtue of appointment only, without approval of the council, may be removed and discharged at the pleasure of the appointing officer.
