Section 2.16.030 Other books and records.

    A.    The city clerk shall keep such other books and records of the transactions and business of his/her office as may be necessary to accurately disclose all transactions and business of his/her office.
    B.    The city clerk shall keep records of outstanding bonds of the city, showing the number and amount of each, for what and to whom issued and when any such bonds are purchased or paid or canceled, the record shall show that fact and in his/her report at the close of the fiscal year he/she shall describe particularly the bonds issued and sold during the year, the terms of sale and itemize each and every expense thereof.
    C.    The clerk shall prepare and present to the city council at its regular meeting each month, a full and complete statement of the financial transactions of his/her office during the preceding month, which statement shall set forth all receipts of any nature whatsoever and shall set forth in detail all expenditures or disbursements made during the preceding month.
    D.    In the absence of the city clerk, the mayor or administrative assistant may designate the deputy clerk or other qualified person to perform the city clerk's duties during the city clerk's absence. (Ord. 131 (part), 1998: prior code § 2.05.030)
