Section 2.20.020 Issuance of licenses.
A. The city finance officer or his/her designated agent
shall issue all licenses, a duplicate of
which shall be kept on file, but no license shall be issued to any person unless the fees and charges
fixed by ordinance shall have first been paid, for which the city finance officer or his/her designated
agent shall issue a receipt in duplicate.
B. The city finance officer, or his/her designated agent,
shall endorse upon the receipt and the
duplicate receipt the number of the license issued, the number of the application or license, and the
duplicate such receipt so issued shall be kept on file with the duplicate license.
C. In the event any chapter, ordinance or any code section
herein, shall require any specific
action by the city council, or any other restriction or restrictions, before the issuance of any license,
then no such license shall be issued until and unless such action, restriction or restrictions have
been
