Section 2.32.030 Appointment of special police officers.
The chief of police may, with the consent of the mayor, appoint
special police officers as
may be required, but no special police officers shall be appointed for a period longer than ten
days, without the consent of the council, and the same shall not be reappointed at the expiration
of the ten days without the consent of the council. All such appointments of special policemen
shall be reported by the mayor at the next meeting of the council after such appointment. (Ord.
