Section 2.52.010 Purpose.
It is the considered opinion of this body that the extension
of the Social Security System to
employees and officers of the city of Hamilton, Montana, will be of great benefit, not only to the
employees of the city by providing that such employees and officers may participate in the
provisions of the Old-Age and Survivors' Insurance System, and will also be of great benefit to
the city by enabling it to attract and retain in employment the best personnel and thus increases
the efficiency of its government. (Ord. 131 (part), 1998: prior code § 1.12.010)
