Section 5.16.050 Exempt activities.
If the city council determines that a transient vendor business is a part of
a short-term
community activity sponsored by a nonprofit organization, it may exempt legitimate, organized
sponsoring associations and/or individual transient vendors from any of the provisions of this
chapter except mandatory insurance coverage as designated in Section 5.16.040(A). (Ord. 209
