Section 5.16.070 Prohibited conduct.
A. No person, other than a nonprofit organization exempt
from federal income tax under 26
USC 501(c)(3), shall solicit orders at any private residence within the city limits for goods or
services for future delivery requiring a prepayment from the purchaser, without first having been
requested or invited to do so by the owner or occupant of the private residence. Neither shall any
person solicit at any location posted "no soliciting."
B. No person or organization shall place advertising
material or any other literature on
vehicles in any public property within the city limits.
C. A transient vendor shall not sound or permit the sounding
of any device which produces
a loud or raucous noise, or use or operate any loud speaker, public address system, radio, sound
amplifier, or similar device without express written permission of the city of Hamilton. (Ord. 209
