Section 8.08.070 Garbage containers.
A. It is unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation, within the limits of the city to keep or
allow to be kept, on or about his/her or their premises, any garbage or other refuse matter, except
in proper and suitable containers with tight fitting covers.
B. The contents of such containers
shall be removed at least once a week and disposed of in
a proper manner, such as delivery to the city dump, or to a properly constructed incinerator.
C. Containers shall be kept reasonably
clean, both inside and outside, and shall be
thoroughly cleaned as often as may be necessary for reasons of health and sanitation. (Ord. 131
