Section 8.16.050 Billing and nonpayment of cost.
A. A statement for the total cost
of removing or abating such nuisance shall be mailed to the
owner of such premises as the same appears on the records of the Ravalli County assessor.
B. If the property owner or his/her
representative fails to pay such assessed amount, the city
officials shall by March 1st of each year, certify and file with the Ravalli County assessor a list
of all lots or parcels and the amount remaining unpaid against each; the county assessor shall
insert such total cost as a tax against each described lot or parcel. (Prior code § 14.07.050)
