Section 9.20.050 Ice boxes, refrigerators, containers.
A. It is unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to leave or permit to remain outside of
any dwelling, building or other structure, or within any unoccupied or abandoned building,
dwelling or other structure under his, her or its control, in a place accessible to children, any
abandoned ice box, refrigerator or other container which has a door or lid, snap-lock, or other
locking device which may not be released from the inside, without first removing such door, lid,
snap-lock or other locking device or by first bolting or locking the same in such manner that it is
impossible to open the same by the use of the hands.
B. It is unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to throw, dispose of or discard any
beer, liquor, soft drinks or other containers, upon the streets, alleys, public places or on any
property owned or controlled by the city.
C. It is unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation owning, occupying or controlling any
premises within the city upon which there is a well or cistern, either in use or abandoned, to
leave such well or cistern open, except when necessary to use it, so that it may cause accident or
injury to children who might be attracted to such well or cistern. It must be locked or otherwise
