Section 9.20.080 Obstruction to streets, sidewalks, etc.
It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place,
or cause to be placed or permit to
be placed upon any sidewalk, street, alley or public place, any object or objects that will in any
way interfere or obstruct the free passage of traffic, either foot or vehicular traffic, or to place
or
cause to be placed or permit to be placed, upon any sidewalk within the city limits, any type of
merchandise that is offered or is to be offered for sale, except the temporary loading or unloading
of such merchandise without written consent of the city council. (Ord. 131 (part), 1998: prior
