National Arbor Day Celebration at Hamilton Dog Park

Celebrate National Arbor Day

April 27 at 1 PM  Hamilton Dog Park, New York Ave 
(just west of Public Works at 920 New York Ave)

Activities include:
  • Mayor's Arbor Day Proclamation
  • Tree Planting with the City of Hamilton's Public Works
  • Urban Forestry/DNRC (Department Natural Resources & Conservation)
The City of Hamilton has been a "Tree City USA", since 2001.

The Tree City USA program has been greening up cities and towns across America since 1976. It is a nationwide movement that provides the framework necessary for communities to manage and expand their public trees. Tree City USA is an Arbor Day Foundation program in cooperation with: U.S. Forest Service, Urban and Community Forests and the National Association of State Foresters.
